What does your Tracking Link look like?

Let’s have a look & understand what’s contained in it.

The Offer ID tells ArabClicks to which advertiser’s website it should send your audience. The Affiliate ID is your unique partner number with ArabClicks – and tells the ArabClicks system to whom it should credit the commissions.

To understand link tracking- you should first understand affiliate marketing.

First, the Affiliate promotes a link on their website or social channels.

Second, customers click on your tracking link. Once the user clicks on your link, the tracking link puts a tracking parameter – a small piece of code called a cookie- in the user browser.Conversions -meaning audience purchases- are tracked by the tracking parameter aka cookie. And thanks to this, the affiliate can earn a commission from customer purchases up to several weeks after the first click (depending on the advertiser policy).

Finally, the affiliate gets paid a commission for every purchase.

The goal of the program is to build affiliation with associates that have sites which are prepared to drive traffic through well-built, original, and established content. This is what creates a mutually beneficial relationship between Amazon and the associate. You are welcome to reapply when you have established your site. Your application can be withdrawn if there were not enough qualifying sales for 180 days after your application was submitted. We're unable to reinstate your account or Associates ID after it’s been rejected.

After Application is Accepted

If you have not earned any commission income in the 3 years prior to any given calendar month, then on the first day of that calendar month we may charge you an account maintenance fee that will be deducted from your unpaid accrued commission income. That account maintenance fee will be the lesser of $10 or the amount of unpaid accrued commission income in your account. Further, any unpaid accrued commission income in your account may be subject to escheatment under state law. Your account will be closed for dormancy when we take this action.
