The reason this can pose challenges is that content that is not seen right away can be buried and lost forever, and content repeated that *is *seen repeatedly could be annoying. It is unfortunate for social media managers to put a great deal of work into creating great content, only to have it never seen because it is buried in a feed, or not used to its fullest potential due to lack of ability to split test the content. Another factor is that with newsfeed-based platforms, one has to be very careful with automated posts and watch the news, as it is easy to inadvertently post something insensitive offensive when posts are pre-scheduled and forgotten in light of current events.
