I regularly check: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Twitter is the worst/best.

I only use one screen

When I check my social notifications, I usually get distracted by the auto-playing video in the main feed. I get hooked like fish. Video or not, something ropes me in and ten minutes later I’m still scrolling or checking stories. Mindless scrolling of social media makes me feel silly, like a clown pulling a never-ending stream of rainbow hankies out of my ear. It clouds my brain, dissipates my focus, and cuts off any semblance of creative flow.

It’s time to fix this problem once and for all.
